 In The Treasures of Montezuma, you'll do more than match ancient artifacts and activate powerful magic totems. You'll also follow the beautiful and clever Dr. Emily Jones as she solves a mystery that can transform the world. The beginning of her quest takes her to the mountains of Mexico, where she makes an astounding discovery that sets the archeological world on fire. by JamesIn my opinion, this is undoubtedly one of the very best match-three-in-a-row games ever created! It all revolves around a well-written, well-illustrated story about discovering Montezuma's hidden treasures.
Most games get more difficult as you progress through them. This one gets harder, too, but the totems and other bonuses help prevent it from becoming too exasperating. Just when you think you can't make it any further, you get to try the same level over, but you can change your power-ups till you find just the right combination to beat it! I think this is what makes this game so unique---it's configurability. That also gives it a lot of replayability. If that's not enough, it also rewards your play with trophies, includes bonus mini-games and you can replay it at a harder level if you wish after you beat it at the normal level.
This game is destined to become the new benchmark for future match games, I think.
